sholo — Support
Last updated 15 August 2026
sholo is a work tool for audio-visual production crews: the floor plan, the gear, what's still outstanding, the schedule, the run of show, and the crew talking to each other — in one place, on a phone, on a show floor.
Email [email protected]
We answer within one business day. If you're on a show floor and something is stopping you working, say so in the subject line and it goes to the top.
What to include when something goes wrong
Four things turn a report into a fix, and they take a minute to gather:
- The build number. Tap your profile picture, top right — it's at the bottom of that panel. This is the single most useful thing you can send.
- Which show you were in, and which tab.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot if there's anything on screen.
Questions that come up
I can't see a tab that should be there
Tabs are switched on per show. A show admin can find them under Show & workspace settings — reachable from your profile picture in the top right — where each tab has its own switch. The run of show is off by default, because a run of show nobody has written yet is an empty tab.
Someone on the crew can't see the show at all
Access is per show, not per company. Being in the workspace isn't enough — they have to be added to that specific show, by a show admin, under Show & workspace settings.
My import didn't come in the way I expected
Every import shows you what it read before anything is saved, and says what it had to work out for itself — which column it treated as the item, whether a duration was minutes or hours. If that summary looks wrong, stop there and send us the file; reading somebody else's spreadsheet correctly is the hardest part of this app and we'd rather fix the reader than have you retype a sheet.
An import replaced work my crew had done
It shouldn't have. Work done on the floor — statuses, notes, photos, pins — is kept when a spreadsheet is re-imported, even where the spreadsheet disagrees, and anything it couldn't reconcile is reported rather than silently overwritten. If you've lost floor work, tell us immediately: that's a serious bug, not a setting.
Notifications aren't arriving
Open your profile, top right. The Notifications line there says whether this device can receive them at all, and if not, why — that one sentence is the most useful thing you can send us.
If it says notifications are on, check what you've asked to be told about. Each is a separate setting, and each lives in the tab it belongs to, under the filter button:
- Chat — every message, or only when somebody tags you. Every message by default.
- Task — every task, or only tasks assigned to you. Every task by default.
- Schedule — only entries you've tapped the bell on, anything on a track you've claimed, or everything. Fires 30 minutes before.
All of these are per person, not per show: turning one on for yourself doesn't turn it on for the rest of the crew.
Deleting my account
Profile picture, top right, then Delete my account. It removes your login, your name and photo, and your membership of every show. Work you did on a show stays with the show, because it belongs to the production rather than to you — this is set out in full in the privacy policy.
Reporting something urgent during a show
Email is the fastest route and it's monitored. Include the build number and the show name. If the app is stopping a crew working, say that plainly — we would rather be interrupted than have you working around it with a clipboard.
