sholo — show logistics

sholo — Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 August 2026

sholo is a work tool for audio-visual production crews. It holds what a crew needs to run a show and nothing else. It is not advertising-supported, it does not track you, and your data is not for sale.

Who runs sholo

sholo is operated by BluStream Media. If you have a question about anything here, email [email protected].

What sholo collects

WhatWhy
Your email address and password To sign you in. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us.
Your name and profile photo So teammates can see who made a change, who a task is assigned to, and who sent a message.
Work you do in the app Floor plan pins, equipment records and statuses, task items, notes, schedule entries and chat messages — the content of the app itself.
Photos you take Reference photos of equipment and its position on a show floor. Only taken when you choose to add one.
A notification token for each device So a notification can reach the phone you're carrying. Only created if you turn notifications on.

What sholo does not do

Who can see your work

Access is per show. Only people added to a specific show can see that show's floor plans, equipment, tasks, schedule or messages — being part of a company workspace is not by itself enough. This is enforced on Google's servers, not just in the app.

BluStream Media staff can access data when needed to operate the service or to help you with a problem you've raised.

Where your data lives

sholo runs on Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Authentication, Cloud Messaging and Cloud Functions), on servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google. Google processes this data on our behalf; see the Firebase privacy documentation.

If you paste a link to a web page so sholo can read a schedule from it, sholo fetches that page. It reads the page and stores the schedule entries it finds. Nothing about you is sent to that site.

How long it's kept

Show data is kept while the show exists, because production records are often needed months later — for a post-mortem, an invoice dispute, or planning the next event. A show admin can clear a show's data at any time.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account inside the app: tap your name in the top right, then Delete my account. This permanently removes your login, your name and photo, your membership of every workspace and show, and your notification settings.

Work you did on a show — pins, task updates, equipment statuses, notes and photos — stays with that show. It belongs to the production rather than to you personally, and removing it would damage a customer's record of their own event. Chat messages remain in the show's log under the name they were sent with, in the same way a signature stays on a run sheet.

Children

sholo is a professional tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we apply the above to everyone regardless.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
