sholo — Terms of Service

Last updated 19 August 2026

sholo is made by BluStream Media. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using it. Using sholo means you accept them.

Accounts

You need an account to use sholo. You're responsible for what happens under it, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us at [email protected] if you think somebody else has it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you're using sholo on behalf of a company, you need that company's authority to agree to these terms for them.

Workspaces, shows, and who owns what

A workspace belongs to the company it was set up for. The people that company's admins add can see and change that workspace's shows.

Your content stays yours. Floor plans, gear lists, schedules, photos, messages and everything else you put into sholo belong to you or your company — not to us. You give us permission to store, process and display that content for the purpose of running the service for you, and for nothing else.

We don't sell your content, we don't use it to advertise to anyone, and we don't share it with other customers. What happens inside your workspace stays inside your workspace.

What you agree not to do

Messages between people

Chat in sholo is between colleagues on a show. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and no waiting to see whether it settles down.

If something crosses the line, tell us at [email protected] and we will look at it within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld we remove the content and, depending on what happened, suspend or terminate the account responsible. The workspace's own administrator can also remove anybody from the workspace or from a single show at any time, which ends their access and their ability to post immediately.

Availability

We work hard to keep sholo up, particularly on show days. We can't promise it will never be unavailable — no service can. Planned work is announced in advance where we can; unplanned outages we fix as fast as possible.

sholo is a tool for coordinating a crew. It is not a life-safety system, and it shouldn't be relied on as one.

Paying for it

Where a plan is paid, the price, the billing period and what's included are whatever was agreed when you signed up. Fees are billed in advance and aren't refundable except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise in writing. We'll give notice before a price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Ending it

You can stop using sholo whenever you like, and delete your account from your profile screen. A company admin can remove people from a workspace at any time.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. Where it's reasonable to warn you first, we will.

When a workspace closes, its content is deleted after a short grace period. Export what you need before you go — sholo can export a gear list, and support can help with the rest.

Changes to sholo, and to these terms

The service changes: features are added, and occasionally one is retired. If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

The legal parts

sholo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we don't make warranties about it beyond what's written here, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business, lost data — arising from using it. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute.
